11/14/2021 0 Comments a turning point...With less than two months in seoul, how do i make the most of my time? It's hard to believe that I've already passed the midway point of this chapter of my life in Korea. I still vividly recall the novelty of living alone, being flustered before ordering every meal, and feeling small in this vast city. I've by no means settled in; I try to venture out as far as I can on weekends to explore every corner of Seoul.
Yet, in my endless search for cute cafés and amazing food, I find myself consumed by the preparations for the year ahead: class registration, leadership commitments, and professional opportunities at home. It's been a bittersweet feeling of moving on. In the past three weeks, I've been able to have some of my greatest adventures: fly to Jeju Island, muster up small conversations in Korean, and continue making friends here and there. I'll continue to share these amazing moments with you as they become fond memories in my mind. Save travels, Natalie

work hard, play hard, eat oftenWhile Yonsei University doesn't consider national holidays such as Hangeul Day as days off from school, classes are cancelled when midterms are due to provide time to study. Thankfully for me, I had done my take-home midterms ahead of time and completed my only live midterm early in the week. This led to my midterm season being busy in the best way possible...having fun and eating so much food! I went to Everland, an entirely outdoor amusement park, Gwangjang Market, and Dongdaemun Design Plaza just this week.
Yet, after this full week, I'm enjoying a low-key weekend at cafés to prepare for the regular schedule of classes and meeting new friends during the week. I've the quintessential "work hard, play hard" week! Check out my 10/17/2021 0 Comments still so much to explore!from celadon to iconic kdrama film locations, there's always so much to see...It's been a while! The weather is finally starting to cool down in Seoul, and the summer foods such as naengmyeon and bingsu are on their way out. Let me recap on some of the many activities I've taken on these past few weeks:
